Missy Hixon
National Camp Associate USFC
Missy has been playing softball since the age of 11 and baseball since the age of 5. She transfered from baseball to a competative team and quickly became an amazing 2nd baseman. She learned from Major League middle infielders and won her first ASA national championship by age 12. She is not only a stellar 2nd baseman but is also an accomplished hitter. She switched over to the left side and can now hit from both sides of the plate. She has power both as a lefty and righty and is experienced at the short game.
Missy was a member of the USA Elite Team and has traveled around the country and world playing for Team USA. She also has won 2 Women's Major National Championships with the Phoenix Storm and won 4 straight State Championships at Chaparral High school in Scottsdale, Arizona. She then received a full-ride scholarship to Arizona State University where she started all 4 years for the Devils. She help the team to a 3rd place finish at the 2002 Women's College World Series. Missy has been giving lessons and working camps since graduating from Arizona State in 2003.
